WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University men's lacrosse sophomore
Jayden Paladino (Hawthorne, N.J.) scored six goals as the Cougars closed out their 2022 season with an 18-11 victory over Davis & Elkins College.
The Cougars finish their season at 3-10, while the Senators fall to 2-10.
Caldwell jumped out to a 4-2 lead as Paladino scored two early goals, while junior
Owen Healey (Washington, N.J.) and junior
Garret Ciccia (Rockaway, N.J.) added goals. The Senators closed the gap to 4-3 at the 6:35 mark but the Cougars rallied with 10 unanswered goals that stretched into the third quarter.

Spencer Deane (Salem, N.H.) and sophomore
Jason Staudte (Sound Beach, N.Y.) also scored in the run. Healey capped the run early in the third quarter as Caldwell held a 14-3 lead.
The Cougars scored two more goals in the third quarter as Taylor scored both goals. Paladino and Albright scored Caldwell's final two goals early in the fourth quarter.
Paladino led the way with six goals, while Staudte finished with one goal and four assists. Taylor totaled three goals and one assist, while Albright posted three goals.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Shane Murphy (Middletown, N.J.) recorded 10 saves in 45 minutes, while junior
Nicholas Mele (Albertson, N.Y.) totaled four saves in the fourth quarter.
