WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's lacrosse team closed out their 2022 season with a 14-6 loss to Chestnut Hill College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars end their season at 1-11 overall and 1-7 in the CACC, while the Griffins close their season at 3-11 and 2-7 in conference play.
Senior
Jenna Steelman (Mays Landing, N.J.) accounted for lone goal for the Cougars in the first half as she netted their first goal at the 2:43 mark of the second quarter.
Caldwell rallied with four goals in the third quarter as senior
Emily Lasko (Jackson, N.J.) scored twice for the Cougars. Junior
Kelsey Maxwell (Center Moriches, N.Y.) and Steelman added goals to close the Gap to 9-5 heading to the final quarter.
Chestnut Hill pushed ahead in the fourth quarter with Maxwell netting the final goal of the game with under a minute to play in the game.
Lasko totaled three points on two goals and one assist, while Maxwell and Steelman each netted two goals.
Senior
Mia Monacelli (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) played all 60 minutes in her final collegiate game, recording 11 saves and finishing with 491 for her career.

Caroline Hastings (Parsippany, N.J.), Steelman and Monacelli.
