CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University baseball junior
Elias Negron (Virginia Beach, Va.) collected three hits and drove in two as the Cougars came up short to Felician University 8-5 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.

The Cougars fall to 6-10 overall and 1-4 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons improve to 8-12 and 3-1 in conference play.

Felician got on the board in the first inning with a run. The Cougars rallied back in the next two innings as Negron tied the game with an RBI groundout. Caldwell took the lead in the fourth as Negron singled in a run for a 2-1 Cougar lead.

The Golden Falcons took the lead in the fifth with two run to pull ahead 3-2. Felcian added to their lead in the later innings, taking an 8-2 lead in the ninth.

Caldwell rallied in their final at-bat as sophomore
Zach Saunders (Adelphi, Md.) doubled in a run, while senior
Frank Lehmann (Colonia, N.J.) added a run with a groundout. Senior
Kyle Richards (Sayreville, N.J.) tripled in a run in the inning but the Cougars come back fell short.
