Jalen March (Baltimore, Md.) and sophomore
Noah Putney (Glassboro, N.J.) each collected two hits as the Cougars fell to nationally ranked #7/#13 Nova Southeastern University in a non-conference game.

The Cougars fall to 4-4 on the season, while the Sharks improve to 18-3.

Nova Southeastern jumped out to an 8-0 lead after five innings of play.

Caldwell got their run in the sixth as March led off the inning with a single. Senior
Kyle Richards (Sayreville, N.J.) drew a walk to move March to second, while Putney followed with a run scoring single to scored March.

The Cougars conclude their Florida spring trip as they face regional foe St. Thomas Aquinas College on Thursday, March 17 at 11 am at the Santaluces Sports Complex. Â
