RUTHERFORD, N.J.- Caldwell University men's basketball senior Anthony Cooper (Ashburn, Va.) totaled 11 points as the Cougars fell to Felician University 98-61 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
 
The Cougars fall to 7-16 overall and 3-12 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons improve to 16-8 and 11-5 in conference play.
 
Felician jumped out to a 15-3 lead over the first five minutes of the game. Caldwell scored six points in a row to close to gap to 15-9 at the 14:02 mark.
 
The Golden Falcons pushed their lead to double digits but the Cougars rallied back to cut the score to 41-34 late in the first half. Felician held a halftime lead and maintained their lead into the second half.
 
Cooper led the way with 11 points, two rebounds and two assists. Freshman Mark Heber (Paterson, N.J.) added eight points and four boards, while freshman Derrick Bueno (Palisades Park, N.J.) totaled eight points. Freshman Matthew Teale (Como, Western Australia) finished with eight points and three assists, while sophomore Jarnel Rancy (Middle Island, N.Y.) recorded five blocks.
 
The Cougars host Post University in their home finale on Wednesday, February 23 at 7:30 pm in a CACC contest. Wednesday's game will feature senior night for the Cougars.
