CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's basketball freshman
Lucy Coogan (Kilkenny, Ireland) netted a career-high 18 points as the Cougars fell short to Felician University 68-57 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 3-5 on the season and 1-1 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons improve to 4-3 and 1-1 in conference play.

Casey O'Shaughnessy (Brooklyn, N.Y.) drained a triple just before the halftime buzzer to pull the Cougars to within 36-30 at halftime.
The Golden Falcons extended their halftime to 45-34 midway through the third quarter. Caldwell rallied back with a 12-1 run to pull even early in the fourth quarter. Coogan paced the rally with nine points, including a pair of three-pointers. Freshman
Alisa Blalock (Uniondale, N.Y.) capped the run with a trifecta at the 8:50 mark of the fourth quarter to even the score at 45.
The final eight minutes featured three more ties but the Golden Falcons netted seven free throws over the final 1:18 to hold off the Cougars down the stretch.
Coogan led the way with a career-high 18 points along with five rebounds, two steals and three blocks. O'Shaughnessy finished with 16 points, four boards and two steals, while Blalock added eight points and three rebounds Senior
Jessica Wagoner (Clifton Park, N.Y.) totaled nine rebounds and seven assists.
The Cougars host the College of Staten Island in a non-conference contest on Wednesday, December 14 at 5:30 pm.
