STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team went 2-2 and sit in second place after day one of the Seahawk Invitational hosted by Wagner College.
The Cougars fell in their opening match 865-851 to Molloy University but defeated Felician University 856-782 in their second match. Caldwell fell short to Saint Francis University 982-831 and concluded the first day with an 894-772 win over host Wagner.
Caldwell stands in second place following the first day of play with a 2-2 record and a total pinfall of 4,275.
Junior
Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) led the way with a baker average of 18.81. Graduate
Victoria Vucak (Garfield, N.J.) posted a baker average of 18.68, while sophomore
Hayley Vesek (Dallas, Pa.) finished with a baker average of 17.80. Senior
Rhianna Smith (Mt Olive, N.J.) compiled an average of 16.30, while sophomore
Juli-Anne Gamo (Clifton, N.J.) finished with a 15.35 baker average.
The Cougars wrap up play at the Seahawk Invitational on Sunday, November 6.
