ORANGEBURG, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team picked up their fourth tie of the season as the Cougars battled Dominican University of New York to a 0-0 draw in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars move to 2-5-4 overall and 1-2-3 in the CACC, while the Chargers stand at 5-4-2 and 3-3-1 in conference play.
The teams played a competitive game as the shot were even at 11 with the Cougars holding a 6-3 edge in shots on goal. Sophomore
Alexa Peto (Toms River, N.J.) led Caldwell with four shots with two on goal, while senior
Sarah Costanza (Morris Plains, N.J.) also recorded two shots on goal.
Freshman
Ariana Gaminara (North Las Vegas, Nev.) recorded three saves in the game.
The Cougars travel to Chestnut Hill College for a CACC contest on Saturday, October 8 at 12 pm.
