CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's soccer sophomore Alexa Peto (Toms River, N.J.) netted the lone goal in the game as the Cougars blanked Goldey-Beacom College 1-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest. 
 
The Cougars improve to 4-7-4 overall and 3-4-3 in the CACC, while the Lightning fall to 7-7-0 and 5-4-0 in conference play.
 
Caldwell broke the scoreless tie in the 23rd minute as junior Megan Feehan (Point Pleasant, N.J) offered a free kick into the box to Peto, who scored on the play.
 
Both teams had scoring opportunities into including a Goldey-Beacom chance with under 10 minutes to play.
 
Freshman Ariana Gaminara (North Las Vegas, Nev.) recorded her sixth shutout of the season, posting six saves in the win.
 
The Cougars host Post University for a CACC contest on Wednesday, October 19 at 3 pm.
