CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell short to Bloomfield College 2-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 3-3-0 and 1-1-0 in the CACC, while the Bears improve to 2-5-1 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play.
The teams battled through a scoreless first half and the score remained tied deep into the second half.
The Bears broke through in the 77
th minute with a goal and added an second tally seven minutes later for a two-goal lead.
Freshman keeper
Dylan Valencia (Elizabeth, N.J.) played all 90 minutes and recorded two saves.
The Cougars return to action on Saturday, October 2 as they travel to Goldey-Beacom College for a CACC contest at 3:00 pm.
