ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.- Caldwell University women's soccer freshman 
Alexa Peto (Toms River, N.J.) tallied the game-winning goal in overtime to send the Cougars to a 2-1 victory over #14 Molloy College in a non-conference match.
 
The Cougars improve to 2-3-0, while the nationally ranked Lions suffer their first set back, dropping to 4-1-0 on the season.  
 
The teams battled through a scoreless first half as the Lions held a 7-2 shot advantage over the first 45 minutes.
 
Caldwell broke the scoreless tie early in the second half as junior 
Sarah Costanza (Morris Plains, N.J.) headed in a rebound to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead.
 
Molloy netted the equalizer in the 71st minute of play to tie the game and force overtime.
 
The Lions had a scoring opportunity turned aside by senior keeper 
Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) late in overtime.
 
The Cougars scored the game-winner in the 98th minute as Costanza crossed the ball to Peto who dialed home the game-winner.
 
Bamford recorded nine saves in the win.  
 
The Cougars travel to Post University for their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opener on Saturday, September 18 at 1 pm.
