Chris Snow (Ledgewood, N.J.) netted four points as the #4 Cougars fell short to #5 Dominican College 10-9 in overtime in the First Round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship.
The Cougars end their season at 5-6, while the Chargers improve to 4-4 and advance to the semifinals to face top seed Chestnut Hill College.
In its second season as a varsity program and only playing in two games prior to the cancelation of the 2020 season, the Cougars, competing in the program's first postseason contest, got on the board first with a pair of early goals. Sophomore
Michael Brown (Glenolden, Pa.) and Snow scored for the Cougars to give them a 2-0 lead.
Dominican rallied back with three goals to pull ahead 3-2 early in the second quarter. Freshman

Kevin Albright (Mays Landing, N.J.) answered for the Cougars to close the half to give Caldwell a 4-3 lead at halftime.
The Chargers netted three goals to start the second half to push ahead 6-4 midway through the third quarter. The Cougars battled back with a pair of goals from Paladino and sophomore
Owen Healey (Washington, N.J.) to even the score at 6-6. Dominican answered with a goal to take a one-goal lead with 3:33 left in the third quarter.
The Cougars rallied back with three unanswered goals as they pull ahead by two goals early in the fourth quarter. Snow tied the game at 7-7 at the 1:28 mark, while Paladino gave Caldwell the lead in the final seconds of the third quarter. Albright netted a goal early in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 9-7 with 12:30 left in regulation.
Dominican closed the gap with a goal at the 4:05 mark and netted the game-tying goal with 3:25 to play to force overtime. In the extra period, the Chargers netted the game-winner with 1:30 left in the period.
Snow, playing in his final collegiate game, tallied two goals and two assists for the Cougars. Paladino added three goals, while Albright chipped in two goals.
