WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Caldwell University women's bowling junior Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) and senior Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) earned East Coast Conference post season award recognition as announced by the conference office. Rapach was selected to the ECC First Team All-Conference, while Perry earned ECC Second Team honors.

Rapach earned her third all conference honor and back-to-back first team selection. Rapach finished her season with a 19.09 traditional frame average. She recorded 66 strikes in traditional play with a 43.7% strike percentage. Rapach posted an 18.25 baker average with 51 strikes and a 34% strike percentage. She turned in an outstanding performance in the post season and earned ECC Championship All-Tournament Team honors.

Rapach on her season, "Overall this season was far from what we're used to due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It required overcoming many obstacles that we were never presented with before. With having a shortened season, it put an emphasis on every tournament, considering we never knew when it would be our last. Despite not performing as well as what I would have liked, this season will definitely push me to strive for even greater success in the future. With everything set aside, I am proud of myself and my teammates for overcoming the challenges we were faced with. I can't wait to see what we accomplish next year!"

Perry recorded a 19.11 traditional frame average in her final collegiate season. She posted 59 strikes in traditional play with a 39.3% strike percentage. Perry tallied an 18.22 baker average and finished with 60 strikes for a 40% strike percentage. She shined for the Cougars in their season opening NY Metro Classic, earning Tournament MVP honors. Perry's performance at the NY Metro Classic was recognized by the conference as she earned ECC Bowler of the Week honors.

Perry reflecting on her college career, "I am delighted to be finishing my college career with this honor. My goal was to enjoy every moment on the lanes this season and I'm happy my performance matched it. I'm very fortunate and thankful to have bowled with my teammates for one more season and making Second Team All-Conference certainly adds a nice finishing touch to my career."

Despite a shortened 2020-21 season, the Cougars entered the 2021 ECC Championship as the defending champions. In the qualifying round of the ECC Championship, the Cougars finished in third place to advance to the ECC Championship Final Four. The third seeded Cougars fell to second seed Daemen College in the ECC Championship Semifinals.
