JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell to Nyack College 3-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 1-3-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the CACC, while the Warriors improve to to 3-0-0 and 3-0-0 in conference play.
Nyack took the early lead with a pair of first half goals.
Caldwell got on the board with a goal in the 65th minute. Senior
Thomas Santana (Carmo do Rio Claro, Brazil) netted the Cougars lone goal off an assist from freshman
Israel Dos Santos Neto (Salvador Bahia, Brazil) to cut the score to 2-1.
The Warriors added a goal in the 80th minute to push their lead to 3-1.
Freshman
Jalen Folsom (Beachwood, N.J.) recorded two saves in 45 minutes, while senior
Anthony Tirri (Colonia, N.J.) posted one save 45 minutes.
The Cougars travel to Holy Family University for a CACC contest on Tuesday, March 23 at 12 pm.
