NEW YORK, N.Y.- Caldwell University men's basketball junior Anthony Cooper (Ashburn, Va.) added another weekly accolade to his bio as he was named the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) DII/III Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Cooper was selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for a second time this season yesterday.
 
Cooper erupted for a career-high 31 points in an 80-76 win over Felician University last Tuesday. Cooper added six rebounds and three assists in the win. He shot 12-for-19 from the field (63.2%), 2-for-4 from downtown and connected on 5-of-6 from the free throw line.
