GWYNN OAK, Md.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team ranks in third place as they posted a 4-1 record on day one of the Lady Eagles Invitational hosted by Coppin State University.
The Cougars split their first two matches as they defeated Wagner College 815-790 and fell to Kutztown University 864-838. Caldwell downed Virginia State University 921-624 and Chestnut Hill College 862-691. The Cougars edged Morgan State University 818-811 to close out day one of the tournament.

Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) led the Cougars with a five-round traditional average of 199 with a high game of 225. Freshman
Hayley Vesek (Dallas, Pa.) posted a three-round average of 172.33 with a high round of 177, while sophomore
Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) finished with a four-round average of 171.5 and a high game of 200.
The Cougars close out the first half of their season as they compete in the final day of the Lady Eagles Invitational hosted by Coppin State on Sunday, November 21.
