FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team wrapped up play at the Bowl for the Cure hosted by Sacred Heart University with two wins, including a victory over East Coast Conference preseason favorite Adelphi University.
Caldwell opened day two with an 888-851 setback to host Sacred Heart. The Cougars defeated Adelphi 1,038-980 and Wagner College 853-826. Caldwell lost their final two matches of the tournament as they fell to Monmouth University in back to back matches; 917-824 and 857-781.
Senior
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) led the Cougars with a 20.26 baker average, while senior
Victoria Vucak (Garfield, N.J.) finished with a 17.89 baker average. Junior
Rhianna Smith (Mt Olive, N.J.) posted a 17.12 average, while sophomore
Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) recorded a 17.09 average.
The Cougars return to the lanes as they compete in the Falcon Classic hosted by Felician University November 13-14.
