NEW CASTLE, Del.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted two wins on the opening day of the Northeast Roundup.
The Cougars fell to Chestnut Hill College 1,068-995 and lost to St. Francis College Brooklyn 1,051-924. Caldwell defeated Mercyhurst University 935-809 but fell to Fairleigh Dickinson University 1,190-951. The Cougars closed out the first day with a 918-860 win over Bloomfield College.
Sophomore
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) posted a five-round traditional average of 196.8 with a high game of 229, finishing in 14th place. Sophomore
Victoria Vucak (Garfield, N.J.) posted a five-round average of 196.6 with a high game of 247.
Junior
Deanne Murray (McMurray, Pa.) finished with a 194.8 average in five round and a high game of 230. Freshman
Jessica Fetik (Staten Island, N.Y.) recorded a four-round average of 187.0 with a high game of 213.
The Cougars wrap up play at the Northeast Roundup on Sunday, March 8.
