READING, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team opened their second half of their season as they posted three wins on the first day of the Griffin Baker Classic hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
The Cougars won their first two matches as they defeated St. Thomas Aquinas College 1,001-738 and Norfolk St. University 953-728. Caldwell fell in their next two matches, losing to Kutztown University 970-955 and Fairleigh Dickinson University 988-882. The Cougars closed out the day with an 882-866 win over Mount Aloysius College.
Sophomore
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) led the way with a 21.63 baker average. Junior
Deanne Murray (McMurray, Pa.) posted an 18.73 baker average.
Junior
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) finished with an 18.26 baker average, while junior
Gabriella Pangaro (Clifton, N.J.) rounded out the top performers with a 17.88 average.
The Cougars continue play at the Griffin Baker Classic hosted by Chestnut Hill on Saturday, February 8.
