Sophomore Paula Dits (Alicante, Spain) and Lebron connected on three-pointers in the third quarter, while freshman Rebecca Morrison (Ayrshire, Scotland) scored in the paint with 4:18 left to help the Cougars pull ahead 54-26.

Concordia rallied back as they closed the gap to nine points at 60-51 early in the fourth quarter. Sophomore Tamrin Henderson (Woodbridge, Va.) scored in the paint to push their lead back to double digits. The Clippers answered as they cut the score down to 63-61 with 2:54 left in regulation.
