Olivia Aldrich (Southampton, Mass.) netted her first collegiate goal as the Cougars fell 4-1 to Davis & Elkins College to wrap up their season opening road trip.
The Cougars fall to 1-1, while the Senators improve to 1-0.
Davis & Elkins scored the first two goals of the game to take an early lead. Aldrich netted her first collegiate goal in the 31st minute to cut the lead to 2-1. The Senators added a late goal to lead 3-1 at halftime.
The Senators added a late second half goal to account for the final score. Caldwell was outshot 16-8 in the game, while Davis & Elkins held the edge in corner kicks 5-4.

Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) recorded five saves in the game.
The Cougars return to the Northeast for their home opening against Molloy College on Wednesday, September 18 at 4 pm.
