Box Score 2 WALTHAM, Mass.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team closed out the Bentley University Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament with a pair of losses.
 
The Cougars fall to 1-6 on the season.
 
In their opening match of final day, the Cougars fell to Bentley 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-14).
 
Junior 
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) posted 10 kills and four digs, while freshman 
Victoria Marquez (Humble, Texas) totaled five kills and six digs.
 
Sophomore 
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) recorded 13 assists, while sophomore 
Sophie Hicks (Christchurst, New Zealand) added seven assists. Sophomore 
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) totaled 15 digs.
 
Caldwell closed out the tournament with a 3-1 loss to Rollins College.
 
Sophomore 
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) posted 16 kills, six digs and two blocks. Marquez added nine kills, while senior 
Katie Compagno (Orland, Ill.) totaled six kills and three blocks.
 
Stormer finished with 13 digs, while Ashton tallied 27 assists and two aces.
Compagno earned all-tournament honors for her play this weekend. 
 
The Cougars open conference play on Wednesday, September 18 as they travel to Concordia for a 6 pm match.
