Overview
Over the weekend, the Caldwell University Women's volleyball team defeated Assumption College 3-2 and fell to Southern Connecticut State University. The Cougars travel to Bentley University where they will compete in four matches this weekend.  
 
Scouting the Cougars

• Caldwell enters this weekend's tournament with a 1-2 record
• Sophomore Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) leads the Cougars with 3.18 kills per set
• Senior Katie Compagno (Orland, Ill.) is the team leader in blocks with six.

• Sophomore Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) leads Caldwell with 3.73 digs per set.
• Sophomore Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) tops the team with 6.82 assists per set.

CACC Weekly Honors
Smith earned CACC weekly honor roll recognition after totaling 35 kills in three matches last week.

Following this weekend's tournament, Caldwell travels to Bronxville, NY to face Concordia College on September 18 for their conference opener.
