CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's basketball junior
Tina Lebron (Manalapan, N.J.) netted 20 points as the Cougars fell to Georgian Court University 80-63 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship Quarterfinals.
The Cougars end their season at 11-16 overall, while the Lions improve to 13-15 and advance to Saturday's semifinals.
Caldwell jumped out to an 11-7 lead midway through the opening quarter. The Lions battled back as they pulled ahead 18-12 early in the second quarter.
The Cougars answered with an 11-2 run as Lebron netted seven points to help Caldwell take a 23-20 lead midway through the second quarter. The teams traded buckets down the stretch as a late Caldwell hoop gave the Cougars a 31-29 lead at halftime.
Georgian Court pulled away in the third quarter as they outscored the Cougars 24-11 as the Lions held a 53-42 lead heading into the final quarter. The Lions led by as much as 22 points midway through the final quarter and held a double digit lead the rest of the way.
Lebron shot 4-of-10 from downtown to finish with 86 three-pointers on the season and passed former Cougar
Kristen Drogsler's single season record of 83 three-pointers in the 2016-17 season. Lebron finished with 20 points and four rebounds in the loss.

Andie Lennon (Secaucus, N.J.) tallied 14 points, three rebounds and four assists. Graduate
Alessia Smaldone (Malnate, Italy) added six points, five boards, six assists and two steals. Freshman
Tamrin Henderson (Woodbridge, Va.) chipped in six points and six boards, while sophomore
Calimah Singletary (Spring Valley, N.Y.) posted six points and five rebounds. Senior
Kristen Siscamanis (Winthrop, Mass.) added five points and grabbed a team-best seven boards.
