EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted two wins on the first day of the Hawk Flight Invitational hosted by Monmouth University.
Caldwell lost their first three matches on the opening day to nationally ranked opponents. The Cougars fell to Fairleigh Dickinson University 927-768 and lost to University of Maryland Eastern Shore 984-841. Caldwell fell to Monmouth 944-882. The Cougars closed out the opening day with a 955-933 win over North Carolina A&T State University and edged Saint Francis University 951-928.
Senior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (Hazleton, Pa.) led the way with an 18.32 baker average. Freshman
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) finished with a baker average of 17.75, while senior
Madison Miller (West Deptford, N.J.) posted a baker average of 16.69. Senior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) finished with an average of 16.46, while sophomore
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) posted an average of 16.32.
Caldwell continues play at the Hawk Flight Invitational on Saturday, March 2.
