CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's basketball senior
Andie Lennon (Secaucus, N.J.) dropped in a career-high 27 points to help lead the Cougars to a 69-61 win over Felician University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars win their third game in a row to improve to 8-14 and 8-7 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons drop to 8-13 and 8-6 in conference play.

Tina Lebron (Manalapan, N.J.) drained a triple at the 6:23 mark. Felician battled back to even the score at 13 late in the opening quarter.
The Cougars answered as they opened up a 24-17 lead midway through the second quarter. The Golden Falcons pulled even at 24 with just under three minutes left in the first half. Caldwell answered as Lebron connected on a triple in the final two minutes. Lennon drained a pair from downtown including one at the buzzer to help Caldwell build a 33-26 lead at halftime.
Caldwell held their lead through the third quarter as they led by as pushed ahead by nine points early in the second half. Felician has one more rally as they closed the gap to 50-48 with 6:25 left in the game. The Cougars pulled away with an 11-4 run to extend their lead to nine points. Lennon dropped in seven points in the run as she capped the run with a triple at the 3:08 mark to put the Cougars ahead 61-52. The Cougars connected on six free throws down the stretch to secure the win.
Lennon's career-high 27 points led the way for the Cougars. She shot 4-for-5 from downtown and added seven assists, four rebounds and four steals. Graduate
Alessia Smaldone (Malnate, Italy) chipped in 12 points, three boards and three assists. Lebron contributed 10 points, two boards and two assists. Freshman
Paula Dits (Alicante, Spain) posted six points and six rebounds, while sophomore
Calimah Singletary (Spring Valley, N.Y.) grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.
The Cougars host Holy Family University for a CACC contest on Saturday, February 16 at 1:00 pm.
