Overview
The Caldwell University Men's Basketball team are opening their 2019-20 season on the road this weekend in Worcester, MA. The Cougars will play a pair of games in the CACC/NE-10 Conference Challenge hosted at Assumption College. The Cougars face St. Michael's College on Friday at 4 pm and take on host Assumption on Saturday at 6:30 pm. Last season, the Cougars finished with an overall record of 17-12 and finished third place in the North Division. The Cougars are picked to finish in third place in the CACC North Division this season.
 
Scouting the Cougars

• Senior Ned Ogoemesim (Westampton, N.J.) was the top leading scorer last season for the Cougars. He averaged 12.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
• Senior AJ Kittles (Glassboro, N.J.) led the team last season with 6.0 rebounds per game.
• Senior Vaughn Covington (Sicklerville, N.J.) was the leading point guard last season, averaging 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
• Senior Ruud Lutterman (Dalem, Netherlands) recorded 7.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game last season.

 
Scouting the Purple Knights

• Last season, St. Michael's College finished 7-19 overall and 4-17 in conference play.
• Senior Eli DiGrande averaged 10.2 points and 6.3 rebounds, while blocking 20 shots.
• Jordan Guzman posted 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 42.9 percent from three-point range.

 
Scouting the Greyhounds

• Last season, Assumption College finished 8-20 overall and 4-17 in conference play.
• Red-shirt Senior Damien Rance led the defense last season averaging 6.1 rebounds per game and 11.1 points per game.
• Junior Matthew Kelly lea the team last season, averaging 15.2 points per game, and finished with 425 points.
