WATERBURY, Conn.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team, appearing in its fourth conference semifinal in the last five years, came up short to #2 seed Georgian Court University 2-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship semifinals. The loss ends the Cougars season at 10-4-3.

Amber Raines (Millville, N.J.),
Jennifer Schlageter (Bloomfield, N.J.) and
Jennifer Storms (Upper Montclair, N.J.) left their mark as one of the most successful eras in the program's history.
The Cougars were 42-28-7 from 2016-2019, which included two CACC Championships in 2016 and 2018 and a semifinal appearance this season. During their four years, Caldwell posted a conference record of 32-11-4.
The teams battled to a scoreless tie through the first 45 minutes of the game as the Lions held the edge in shots 7-1. Georgian Court broke the tie in the 65th minute to take the lead. The Lions added a second goal nine minutes later to pull ahead 2-0.
