Overview
Last weekend, the Caldwell University Men's Basketball team competed in the CACC/NE-10 Conference Challenge. The Cougars were defeated by St. Michael's College and Assumption College to open their 2019-20 season. The Cougars host their first home game of the season on Wednesday, November 13, against non-conference opponent Southern Connecticut State University. Tip-off to begin at 7:00pm.
Scouting the Cougars
- In the first two games of the season, senior Ruud Lutterman (Dalem, Netherlands) is averaging 18.0 points per game and has 36 points total.
- Senior AJ Kittles (Glassboro, N.J.) leads the team in rebounds with 11 and is averaging 5.5 rebounds per game.
- Lutterman also has been aggressive on defense, totaling a team-best four steals.
CACC Weekly Honors
Lutterman made the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference honor roll for his performance last week averaging 18 points per game on 61% shooting.
Scouting the Owls
- Southern Connecticut State University started their season off 1-1 overall.
- Red-shirt Junior Isaiah Boissard has 32 points this season, and is averaging 16 points per game.
- Senior Taurus Adams II has 16 rebounds this season and is averaging 8 rebounds per game.

Next Up
The Cougars will travel to Orangeburg, NY this Saturday November 16th and Sunday November 17th to compete in the Dominican College Challenge, against the College of Saint Rose and St. Michael's College.
