CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team earned their first win of the season with a 4-2 victory over Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars improve to 1-7-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the CACC, while the Lions fall to 3-6-0 and 2-2-0 in conference play.

Didrik Aase (Bergen, Norway) scored off the corner kick from junior
Jeongmin Ahn (Sejong, South Korea) in the 27th minute.

Thomas Santana (Carmo do Rio Claro, Brazil) added to their lead early in the second half with a goal to push the score to 2-0.
Georgian Court rallied with back to back goals in the 79th and 83rd minute to even the score at 2-2.

Sander Golmen (Lier, Norway) netted the go-ahead goal off the corner kick from junior
Mattia Cella (Rapallo, Italy) in the 84th minute. Cella added an insurance goal two minute later on a penalty kick.

Nils Svere (Lier, Norway) recorded four saves in the win.
The Cougars travel to Dominican College for a CACC contest on Thursday, October 10 at 2 pm.
