Overview
Over the weekend, the Caldwell University Sprint Football team blanked Alderson Broaddus University 43-0 in a Collegiate Sprint Football League South Division contest. The Cougars return home to welcome the United States Naval Academy on Saturday at 7:00 pm. The Cougars are on a two-game win streak as they improve their record to 2-1 and 1-0 in the CSFL South Division.
 
Scouting the Cougars

• Freshman Timothy Palmer Jr. (Hawthorne, N.J.) has passed for 214 yards and three scores in 2019.  
• Sophomore Armani Bermudez (Newark, N.J.) rushed for 118 yards in Sunday's win and has amassed 318 rushing yards and four touchdowns this season.
• Junior Jared Dockett (Bloomfield, N.J.) leads the received with 101 yards on four receptions and one touchdown.
• Freshman Frank DeMaio (Nutley, N.J.) has posted eight receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown
• Junior Nysir Smith (Newark, N.J.) hauled in a 75-yard touchdown last week and scored on a kickoff return.  
• Junior Jerrick Anthony (Bayonne, N.J.) leads the team with 15 tackles along with 2.5 sacks
• Junior Royce Francisco (Passaic, N.J.) has totaled 14 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
• Junior Randy Antenor (Jersey City, N.J.) leads the team with 6.0 sacks.

Scouting the Midshipmen

• The United States Naval Academy are undefeated on the season (3-0).
• Junior Braydan Chmiel leads the Midshipmen with 158 rushing yards and 260 passing yards. He has passed for four touchdowns and rushed in two scores.
• Junior Eric Spicer leads the team five catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns
• Senior David Postma leads the defense 28 tackles and two interceptions.

CSFL Weekly Honors
Nysir Smith earned CSFL Special Teams Player of the Week after taking the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. Smith added a 75-yard receiving touchdown in Sunday's win.
