Overview
Last weekend, the Caldwell University Sprint Football team was defeated by Army 38-6. The Cougars are 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the CSFL South Division. The team travels to Philadelphia, PA on Friday night to face conference opponent Chestnut Hill College. Kickoff to begin at 7:00pm.
Scouting the Cougars
- Junior Nysir Smith (Newark, N.J.) caught the Cougars only touchdown against Army.
- Freshman Timothy Palmer Jr. (Hawthorne, N.J.) led the team offensively throwing for a touchdown on 139 yards.
- Freshman Frank DeMaio (Nutley, N.J.) led all receivers with four catches.
- Freshman Jahmall Readus (Paterson, N.J.) led his defense posting nine tackles.

Scouting the Griffins
- Chestnut Hill College is 3-2-0 and 1-2-0 in division. In their last game, the Griffins defeated Alderson Broaddus University 26-17.
- Senior Michael Marino has thrown 13 touchdowns for 1,055 yards.
- Senior Demoree Hill has caught six touchdown passes for 407 yards.
- Sophomore Ryan Jakeman has 34 total tackles this season, which leads the team on defense.
