PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball defeated USciences 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
 
The Cougars improve to 7-11 overall and 6-3 in the CACC, while the Devils drop to 4-11 and 3-6 in conference play.
 
Caldwell won in three straight sets 25-20, 25-16 and 25-16.
 
Freshman 
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) led the way with 16 kills and five digs, while junior 
Katie Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) totaled six kills, two aces and two blocks.
 
Freshman 
Olivia Bellamy (Davison, Mich.) chipped in four kills, while freshman 
Lisbeth Suarez (Bogota, N.J.) recorded eight digs. Freshman 
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) netted 27 assists and five digs, while sophomore 
Alejandra Leal Montes (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) pitched in eight digs and two aces. Freshman 
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) tallied a match-high 21 digs.
 
The Cougars host Jefferson on Tuesday, October 3 in a CACC contest at 7:00 pm at the Newman Center.
