READING, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted a 3-2 record to take fifth place after day one of the Golden Bear Classic hosted by Kutztown University.
The Cougars opened the day with an 874-837 win over Felician University. Caldwell came up short to host Kutztown 1006-991. The Cougars defeated LIU Post 934-703 but fell to Adelphi University 1006-895. Caldwell ended the first day with a 924-892 win over Wilmington University.
Freshman
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) led the Cougars on day one with a 19.65 baker average. Junior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) posted a 19.24 baker average, while junior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) posted an 18.95 average.
Senior
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) posted an 18.89 baker average, while freshman
Gabriella Pangaro (Clifton, N.J.) rounded out the top finishers with an 18.10 average.
The Cougars continue play at the Golden Bear Classic on Saturday, February 10.
