PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Caldwell University women's volleyball senior
Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) tallied 16 kills as the Cougars lost their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match of the season with a 3-1 loss to the Jefferson Rams.

The Cougars fall to 10-4 overall and 5-1 in the CACC, while the Rams improve to 11-5 and 6-0 in conference play.

Caldwell took the opening set 27-25. Jefferson battled back to take the second set 27-25. The Rams took the win as they closed out the match with a 25-21 set three win and a 25-21 win in set four.

Janssen added 13 digs, two blocks and four aces in the match. Freshman
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) tallied a career-high 13 kills along with nine digs and two blocks. Senior
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) finished with seven kills, 10 digs and two blocks.

Sophomore
Kathleen Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) totaled four kills, two aces, five digs and six total blocks (one solo). Senior
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) posted 23 assists and seven digs, while junior
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) recorded 18 assists and two blocks. Senior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) led the way with 15 digs.
