ELMWOOD PARK, N.J.- Caldwell University women's bowling junior Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) and sophomore Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) finished in the top-10 as the Cougars concluded play at the Northeast Conference Meet #2 hosted in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Caldwell finishes the conference season with a 5-13 NEC record to finish in sixth place and qualify for the NEC Championships that begins on March 25 in Howell, New Jersey.
 
Roca finished the weekend with a 193.57 traditional average in seven rounds to finish in sixth place. She posted a high round of 224. Kulaga came in eighth place with a 190.43 average with a high round of 237.
 
Sophomore Alexis Policastro (Carteret, N.J.) finished in 17th place for the weekend with a seven-round average of 176.14 and a high round of 203. Sophomore Madison Miller (West Deptford, N.J.) posted a seven-round average of 174.57 as she finished in 19th place. She turned in a high round of 236. Sophomore Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) rounded out the top Cougars with a 170.29 traditional average. She posted a high round of 212 and finished in 21st place for the weekend.
 
The Cougars fell in their first two traditional matches of the day. They lost to Sacred Heart University 947-896 and were edged by Fairleigh Dickinson University 977-970. Caldwell finished the day with a pair of wins as they defeated LIU Brooklyn 907-807. The Cougars clinched their spot in the NEC Championships with an 878-802 win over Duquesne University to finish one win ahead of the Dukes in the conference standings.
 
Caldwell wraps up the regular season as they will compete in the Hawk Flight Invitational hosted by Monmouth University March 3-5 in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
