STRATFORD, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team went 2-3 in five baker matches on Day 1 of the Fairleigh Dickinson University Jamboree.
Caldwell started off the first day with a pair of wins. The Cougars defeated Bethune Cookman University 936-721 and edged Howard University 998-960.
Caldwell fell in their final three matches on the opening day. The Cougars lost to host FDU 1,059-910 and came up short to Sacred Heart University 975-929. Caldwell ended the opening day at the FDU Jamboree with an 882-815 loss to Adelphi University.
The Cougars are back in action on Saturday, November 4 for Day 2 of the FDU Jamboree.
