MILLSBORO, Del.­- Caldwell University women's bowling went 2-3 on day one of the Hawk Classic hosted by the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore.
 
Caldwell opened the tournament with an 823-816 win over Saint Francis University Brooklyn. The Cougars came up short in the next three matches.  Caldwell fell to Sacred Heart University 1,055-900 and came up short to Saint Francis University 1,004-938. The Cougars fell to LIU Brooklyn 956-782. Caldwell ended the opening day with a 938-842 win over Monmouth University.
 
The Cougars are back in action for day two of the UMES Hawk Classic on Saturday, November 18 in Millsboro, DE.
