PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The #6 seed Caldwell University women's soccer team fell to #3 seed Holy Family University 1-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship Quarterfinals.
 
The Cougars end their season at 8-9-1, while the Tigers improve to 14-5-0 and advance to Friday's CACC Championship semifinals.
 
The teams battled through a scoreless first half as Caldwell held the edge in shots 5-4.
 
The score remained tied until the 75th minute of play. The Tigers took the lead with a goal with around 16 minutes left in the game.
 
Holy Family finished the game with a 10-7 advantage in shots, while the teams were tied for four corner kicks each. Sophomore Meghan Grundhauser (Easton, Pa.) led the Cougars with four shots.
 
Sophomore Daniela Lucca (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) recorded six saves in the game.
