NYACK, N.Y.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell to Nyack College 2-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
 
The Cougars fall to 5-6-1 overall and 3-4-0 in the CACC, while the Warriors improve to 5-5-1 and 3-4-0 in conference play.
 
The teams battled through 30 minutes of scoreless action. Nyack got on the board in the 31st minute of play to take the lead. The Warriors added a goal early in the second half to extend to a 2-0 lead.
 
Caldwell held the advantage in shots 19-12 with juniors Joaquin Escudero (San Sebastian, Spain) and Tom Yorston (Northamptonshire, United Kingdom) each posting four shots each.
 
In net, freshman Nils Svere (Lier, Norway) recorded six saves.
 
The Cougars host Georgian Court University on Saturday, October 7 at 1:30 pm.
