CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's volleyball senior
Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) tallied 13 kills as the Cougars defeated Concordia College 3-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
The Cougars improve to 15-5 overall and 10-2 in the CACC, while the Clippers drop to 2-11 and 2-10 in conference play.
Caldwell took the opening set 25-15 but the Clippers evened the match with a 25-23 win in set two. The Cougars took the final two sets 25-12 and 25-18 to take the match.
Janssen added six digs in the win, while senior
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) totaled nine kills and 10 digs. Sophomore
Kathleen Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) finished with eight kills and three blocks, while freshman
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) recorded six kills, two aces and eight digs.

Avery Stanechewski (Tampa, Fla.) and freshman
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) each netted six kills, while senior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) tallied 19 digs and three aces. Senior
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) led the Cougars with 24 assists and six digs, while junior
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) posted 13 assists.
The Cougars host Georgian Court University in a CACC match-up on Saturday, October 21 at 4:30 pm.
