CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's soccer sophomore
Meghan Grundhauser (Easton, Pa.) netted a pair of goals as the Cougars defeated Bloomfield College 4-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars improve to 6-7-0 overall and 5-4-0 in the CACC, while the Bears fall to 4-8-0 and 2-7-0 in conference play.
Caldwell got on the board in the first half as Grundhauser tallied the Cougars first goal in the 22nd minute from junior

The Cougars added to their lead in the second half as freshman
Macie Pennington (Townsend, Del.) scored to extend the lead to 2-0 in the 56th minute. Two minutes later, Pennington assisted on a goal for junior
Carlyn Salus (Pompton Lakes, N.J.).
Bloomfield got on the board in the 70th minute to cut the score to 3-1. Grundhauser added her second of the season and sixth of the season off a double assist from Pennington and junior
Jessica LaConde (Huntington Beach, Calif.).

Daniela Lucca (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) recorded on save in the win in 87 minutes in net. Freshman
Taylor Dean (Beachwood, N.J.) played the final 2+ minute in goal for the Cougars.
The Cougars host LIU Post in a non-conference game on Saturday, October 14 at 12 pm at Caldwell Field.
