QUEENS, N.Y.- Junior Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) led the way with 17 kills as the Caldwell University volleyball team defeated Queens College 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-19). The Cougars improve to 7-3 overall, while the Knights drop to 2-6.

Auyong chipped in 10 digs and three aces, while junior Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) tallied 10 kills and three blocks.

Sophomore Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) totaled 22 assists and seven digs, while sophomore Melanie Krpec (Katy, Texas) posted three kills, eight digs ant two aces. Junior Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) led the team with 21 digs and four aces.

The Cougars open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Friday, September 16 as they travel to Bloomfield College for a 6 pm match.
