The Week AheadThe Caldwell University women's basketball team returns to conference play this week with a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games. The Cougars host Dominican College on Wednesday, January 20 at 6 pm and travel to Georgian Court University on Saturday, January 23 at 1 pm.

Caldwell holds the edge on Dominican for second place in the CACC North Division entering Tuesday's game against the Chargers. Senior
Nicole Angelo (Mount Laurel, NJ) leads the team with 15 points per game along with 3.7 assists. She has connected on 31 triples this season and is shooting 42.5% from downtown. Sophomore
Kristen Drogsler (Middle Village, NY) is second in scoring with 14.2 points, while averaging 6.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. Drogsler is third on the team in three-pointers with 26 and is shooting 37.1% from the outside. Sophomore
Karlie O'Driscoll (Sharon, MA) is averaging 12.7 points per game and a team-best 6.4 rebounds, while shooting 53.3% from the field. Junior
Antoinette Pilla (Scarsdale, NY) is averaging 11.3 points per game and leads the team with 40 three-pointers, while shooting 35.7% from long range. Sophomore
Sharell Sanders (Dorchester, MA) is posting 10 points, 4.3 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals this season.
Scouting the Chargers (9-8, 5-3 CACC)The Chargers lost their lone game last week in a 66-64 setback to USciences. Deja Gabbidon led the way with 22 points and four rebounds in the loss, while Lisa Bouffard chipped in 14 points and eight boards. On the season, Gabbidon leads the Chargers with 15.9 points per game along with 9.6 rebounds. Bouffard is averaging 14.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and two steals this season. Rebecca Rabeiro is third on the team in scoring with 9.6 points along with 3.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game.
Scouting the Lions (5-12, 3-6 CACC)The Lions lost their last game to NYIT on Monday 71-49. Destiny Thompson led Georgian Court with 18 points and nine rebounds in the loss. For the season, Alliyah Berger leads the team with 17.4 points and 7.4 rebounds, while Jada Atchison is averaging 12.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists. Jaelyn Tweedy is chipping in 12.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
CACC Round UpAngelo is fifth in the CACC in scoring, while Drogsler ranks ninth. Angelo is second in three-point percentage while Drogsler is in fifth place and Pilla ranks eighth. Pilla is fifth in conference in three-pointers, while Angelo is tied for ninth place. Drogsler is tied for fourth in blocks, while O'Driscoll is third in field goal percentage. Sanders is second in the conference in steals and sixth in assists.
