The Week AheadThe Caldwell University women's soccer team hosts a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games this week as they look to remain unbeaten in CACC play. The Cougars square off against Post University on Wednesday Sept 23 at 4:00 pm at Caldwell Field. The Cougars will end the week with another home conference game as they welcome Philadelphia University on Saturday Sept 26 at 11:30 am.

The Cougars won their first game of the season last week when they opened up CACC play with 4-0 win against Nyack College. The Cougars then dropped a non-conference game two days later against LIU Post by a score of 1-0. The Cougars bounced back with their second conference win over Goldey-Beacom by a score of 4-1.
Emily Valerian (Roseland, NJ),
Jessica LaConde (Huntington Beach, CA),
Gianna Klucker (Tamins, Switzerland), and
Amanda Wroblewski (North Babylon, NY) lead the Cougars with two goals scored each in seven games played.
Mary Kanzler (East Northport, NY) comes into the week with 39 saves and a goals against average of 1.80.
Scouting the EaglesThe Eagles enter the week with a record of 3-3-0 (3-0-0 CACC). The Eagles dropped their first three games of the season which were all non-conference games. The Eagles bounced back with three straight victories against conference teams Philadelphia, Concordia, and Chestnut Hill shutting out all three teams. Katharina Mertz (Buxtehude, Germany) leads the team in goals with six in six games played. Mertz is ranked second in goals scored for the conference.
Scouting the Rams The Rams enter the week with a record of 2-4-0 (1-2-0 CACC). Carla Chmielewski (Glassboro, NJ) scored the only two goals for the Rams so far this season with one coming in the win against Queens and the other coming in the win against Dominican. Two Goal Keepers have split time for the Rams so far this season, Courtney Shaw (Langhorne, PA) has 17 saves with a goals against average of 0.75 in four games played and Erin Tinneny (Collegeville, PA) has eight saves with a goals against average of 0.50 in two games played.
CACC Roundup Mary Kanzler is ranked second in the conference in saves with 39 and is only three saves off of the lead behind Nyack College's Jordan Jansen who has recorded 42 saves for Nyack in five games played.
Next Up for the CougarsThe Cougars will travel to Concordia College next Tuesday Sept 29
th for another conference match-up which will end the September portion of the 2015 schedule.
