NYACK, N.Y.- Freshman
Jessica LaConde (Huntington Beach, CA) netted a pair of goals to help lead the Caldwell University women's soccer team to a 4-0 win over Nyack College. The Cougars improve to 1-4-0 overall and open up CACC play at 1-0-0, while the Warriors drop to 0-2-1 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play.
LaConde got the scoring going in the 29th minute as they put Caldwell up 1-0. The Cougars added to their lead in the second half as junior
Jessica Garrettson (Atco, NJ) scored added to the Caldwell lead in the 51st minute.
LaConde tallied her second goal of the day in the 74th minute off an assist by freshman
Emily Valerian (Roseland, NJ). Caldwell finished their scoring on the afternoon in the 82nd minute as Valerian found the back of the net to cap off a successful afternoon for Caldwell.

Mary Kanzler (East Northport, NY) recorded five saves in the shutout victory.
Caldwell returns to the field on Thursday, September 17 when they host LIU Post in a non-conference tilt at 4 pm at Caldwell Field.
