ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Caldwell University bowling team completed play at the Golden Bear Classic, hosted by Kutztown University on Sunday at Parkway Lanes. The final day of the three-day tournament consisted of Baker bracket matches, with the Cougars taking 10th place.

Caldwell started the day well, beating New Jersey City University in a best-of-seven match, four games to none. The next round saw the Cougars fall to Felician College, 4-1. In the ninth-place match, NJCU defeated Caldwell, 4-1 to end the tournament. Fairleigh Dickinson University defeated Adelphi University in the finals to win the Golden Bear Classic.

The Cougars, coached by Ken Yokobosky, will compete in the final of three Northeast Conference meets on Feb. 28 in Altoona, Pa.
