ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Caldwell University bowling team finished the second day on Saturday at the Golden Bear Classic, hosted by Kutztown University at Parkway Lanes. The Cougars played matches against Delaware State, Fairleigh Dickinson, Cheyney, Felician and New Jersey City University to complete play against all nine opponents at the three-day tournament.
All matches in the tournament will use Baker format scoring, with each of the five team members, in order, bowling a complete frame until a complete (10-frame) game is bowled. Caldwell lost all five matches today and finished with a 10-match pin total of 6488.
The Cougars, coached by
Ken Yokobosky, will wrap up play at the Golden Bear Classic on Sunday, playing a best-of-seven match with NJCU in the Baker bracket matches.
