The Week AheadThe Caldwell University men's basketball team returns to the Newman Center this weekend as they play a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games this week. The Cougars travel to Post University on Tuesday, December 8 for a 7:30 pm game before returning home on Saturday, December 12 to face Felician University at 3 pm.

Dawan Lighty (Paterson, NJ) 17.4 points per game, while draining a team-best 19 triples this season. Senior
Billy McDonald (North Haven, CT) is second in scoring with 11.8 points per contest, while chipping in 4.1 rebounds on the year. Senior
Salvortore Vitello (Bridgewater, NJ) is averaging 9.1 points and 3.4 assists, while senior
Brian Kenny (Howell, NJ) is contributing 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds this season.
Scouting the Eagles The Eagles enter the week having won four of their last five game including a 71-69 win against Felician on Wednesday. They enter Tuesday's matchup with a 5-3 record and 3-0 in CACC play. Tyler Desrosiers lead the Eagles with 14.4 points per game and a team-high 22 triples. Matt Mareno is chipping in 11 points and seven rebounds, while Jah'Sheme Ringgold is averaging 10.2 points and two assists per contest. Joseph Lockwood is contributing eight points and seven boards this season.
Scouting the Golden Falcons The Golden Falcons lost both conference games last week to Post and Bloomfield College. They enter the week at 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the CACC. Jeyvi Miavivululu leads the team with 15 points and 7.6 rebounds per game this season. Jamal Reid is averaging 11.6 points, 5.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals this season. Tim Massado is contributing 8.9 points and a team-best 14 trifectas this season.
CACC Round UpLighy ranks seventh in the CACC in points per game and seventh in three-pointers. He also ranks fourth in the conference in free throw percentage with an 87.8% mark. Vitello is tenth in the conference in assists and
13th in steals per game with 1.6 per game.
Next Up for the Cougars After this week's games, the Cougars are back in action next Thursday, December 17 as they host Southern Connecticut St. University at the Newman Center.
