The Week AheadThe Caldwell University women's basketball team play a pair of non-conference games this week before the holiday break. The Cougars travel to Southern Connecticut St. University on Thursday, December 17 for a 7 pm game and host Washington Adventist University on Sunday, December 20 at noon.

Nicole Angelo (Mount Laurel, NJ) leads the team with 15.3 points per game and 3.0 assists, while draining a team-high 29 triples Sophomore
Kristen Drogsler (Middle Village, NY) is second in scoring with 12.1 points and 5.5 rebounds, while adding 14 three-pointers this season. Sophomore
Karlie O'Driscoll (Sharon, MA) is averaging 11.3 points per game and 5.3 rebounds, while sophomore
Sharell Sanders (Dorchester, MA) is posting 11.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.9 steals. Junior
Antoinette Pilla (Scarsdale, NY) is averaging 9.4 points per game and 19 three-pointers.
Scouting the Owls The Owls went 2-0 last week as they defeated Concordia College and Pace University. Southern Connecticut enters Thursday's match-up with a 7-3 overall record and 2-3 in the Northeast-10 Conference. Jackie Beathea leads the team as she averages a double-double with 12.4 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. Danielle Powell is second in scoring with 10.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest. Taylor McLaughlin is averaging 9.8 points and 4.7 rebounds, while Nicole Grossbard is chipping in 7.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and two steals per game.
Scouting the Shock The Shock lost three games last week as they fell to The Apprentice School, Bowie St. University and Virginia St. University. They enter Sunday's match-up with a 4-7 overall record this season. Washington Adventist is led by Jerria Brown-McDaniel who is averaging 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Olivia Turner is chipping in 9.7 points and 8.1 boards per contest. Natalie Harrison is posting 9.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while draining a team-best 23 three-pointers.
CACC Round UpAngelo is fifth in the CACC in scoring, second in three-point percentage at 42.0% and third in three-pointers. Drogsler leads the CACC in three-point percentage with a 43.8% shooting mark. O'Driscoll is seventh in the conference in free throw percentage at 78.1%, while Sanders is second in steals and sixth in free throw percentage at 78.6%.
Next Up for the Cougars After the holiday break, the Cougars close out the 2015 portion of their schedule as they travel to Molloy College on Thursday, December 31 at noon.
